South Carolina’s PEV Registrations Grew 30% from 2016 to 2017

When looking at the rate of change from 2016 to 2017 for plug-in vehicle (PEV) registrations per capita, South Carolina had a growth rate of 31.3%. Maryland, Massachusetts, Alaska, and Vermont all had growth rates of 50% or higher. The U.S. average growth rate for PEV per capita is 30.2%.

Note: PEV includes both all-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
