SADI Success in SC

article photo
The Southeast Alternative Fuel Demonstration Initiative (SADI) grant was a US Department of Energy project focused on increasing the adoption of alternative fuels in the Southeast region of the United States by engaging project partners in demonstrations for public and private fleets.
Clean Cities Coalitions throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee worked with technology partners to provide opportunities for fleets to demonstrate a wide range of alternative fuel vehicles. Palmetto Clean Fuels (PCF) was able to get fleet and procurement managers behind the wheel of propane autogas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles in order to showcase their performance, refueling, and maintenance compared to their traditional counterparts.
